Looked up auto mechanics and came across AMC car repairs. I had been preciously to 2 other garages regarding my air con and was told it needed an auto mechanic to diagnose the problem with a diagnostics equipment as it was more than just the gas that needed refilling. This information was relayed to AMC. Quick service date given to diagnose the problem. costing 60. Which was done. He diagnose the problem and told me it was the switch. AMC then quoted me 230 to replace this and re gas. I booked it in. The car was picked up and then delivered back 3 hours later saying it wasn't the problem and that the compressor needed replacing. They basically charged me in total 290 for nothing. the car was clearly diagnosed incorrectly. AMC then told me that they unfortunately were electrical specialist and I should go to a garage that specialise in mechanical repairs to get this fixed. Very poor garage service and would not recommend them at all. Just feel like I have been conned. 290 Later and still no working AC.

After having immobiliser issues with my van the system would not allow the van to start Arron arrived promptly as appointment. Within an hour and a half van all fixed. Excellent job would definitely recommend and use again. Many thanks

Genuinely the very best all round service we have received for car repairs. Recent work has been completed on both my own vehicle and my wife's MPV. We had 3 quotes from local garages to replace various bushes on our Mazda5. Although they all quoted for the work, we got the impression they did not want to take on the job. We contacted AMC, were quoted the best price and they got the job done. Highly recommended.
