I have eaten at South Street Pantry many times and have never been disappointed, so ordered my birthday cake using their online click and collect option. The cake was beautiful and delicious. I also ordered lunch through the click and collect service, which was really easy and seamless!

We visited this restaurant today for a late lunch. I asked the nice waitress if there is any chicken sandwich, as it wasn't on the menu. She said I can have the coronation chicken sandwich. I must say it was the best I've ever had. Big portions with great fillings. My partner had the tomato and basil soup with caramel milkshake. The food here is really good, and the cakes look very delicious. We were too full to have cakes. I recommend this place.
As I write this we are still in the midst of the pandemic, and I'm happy to say the S. Street Pantry have adapted tremendously to accommodate this fact. One way system, contract tracing, all that stuff is in place but with minimum of hindrance. Most importantly though, the staff were friendly and efficient, took our order and brought our thoroughly delicious food very quickly. The Eggs Benedict was amongst the best I've ever had, and the only issue with my son's fluffy pancakes (millionaire's version) was the helping was so large he couldn't finish it. To top it off, prices are very reasonable. All in all, highly recommended.
Fantastic!!! Good location. Great service! Amazing food! I was really impressed with how up front they are about the 1hr max per table so that they can cope with reduced seating during the social distancing era. Other places should implement this to keep the tables coming, its more than enough time to have lunch or tea and cake. We couldn't manage the epic cakes at that point so we had them to go and enjoyed them in the bath at the hotel we were staying in!!!
This place is surely one of the most attractive place in the area. Whenever I visit this place I am extremely glad. They maintain their very high standard service and the topmost level of food they offer. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Very recommended.
