Shams hotel in Dahab was great for a short stay. The rooms upstairs are modern and upgraded. The rooms down stairs needs upgrade. The cafe and restaurant was good and quiet here you can enjoy working or reading in peace. The location nearby is safe and great you have everything you need at your doorstep. The beach is rocky but you can always swim if you go deeper. The hotel was clean but the downstairs rooms needs upgrade.There is no TV in the rooms down stairs and in the upper stairs rooms the TV was not working.

Great position. Fairly basic but practical and clean. Very friendly staff. Stunning views. Close to restaurants, bars, shops, and snorkeling sites. Very professional and well priced dive centre.
One of the worst experiences ever. Don’t go diving with them. Poor management, poor customer service, high prices for nothing. They don’t treat their customers right. They made me and my friends wait for 6 hours till we went to the beach, then made us wait two more hours there. We literally started diving an hour before sunset. We paid for pictures and videos under water, then they told us the camera died and we had to fight to get our money back! Much more details on how badly they treated us, but overall poor service. If you want a good diving experience...good customer service...and good timing , DON’T GO THERE!
I did dive with Shams though i haven't stayed in their hotel. All the staff there are very helpful and friendly with a sense of humor. I went of over 5 dives with them including Canyon dive in Bluehole area. Mouse is a great dive master along with his dive crew. They keep safety first all the time and very careful with less experienced divers. I would like to dive with them agian.
