Nice marshes with beaten circular track for easy 1-2 hour walk. Cafe staff super friendly and lovely. RSPB staff very pushy to get you out by 5pm on the dot stating your car will get locked in and chased people out of reserve from 430pm. Would recommend better signage so you know how long it takes to walk from any point back to meet with these stringent timings. Not much wildlife seen but we saw a few birds, a swan, water snake, a heron and some ducks.

A lovely place for a cycle off the road. I love seeing it at different times and in different weathers. Popular for birds watchers and dog walkers too.
Fantastic area - beautiful walks, spotless facilities, very friendly and helpful volunteers who greeted us when we arrived (Louise especially), lots of parking, highly recommend.
Good for winter bird life. Make sure you have walking boots or wellies on as there are always wet areas, except in dry periods. Lockdown 3, means cafe/RSPB centre/hides and shop are closed, though loos are open. Open Thur-Sun 09:30-16:30. You can check rspb.org.uk
