A bit of a hidden gem in the North East and host to many County/National events. Not too long at just over 6,000 yards but very challenging. Even so, higher handicaps will find it fair. Excellent greens and fabulous views. Pretty hilly and definitely not for the unfit! Well above average practice areas - there are three of them - and a first class pro shop. A very pleasant clubhouse ensures a good start and/or end to your game. Definitely worth a visit.

We are a family visiting from Reading, staying in the area, and loved the course. Very clever design makes every tee shot seem difficult, but the hole often opens up for the second shot. Good length to par 3s, greens are true and the course has some spectacular holes. Highly recommend.
Very good shop for all your golf gear. Sean and Mark are very good to deal with.
Good course well maintained excellent pro shop, good bacon sandwich and chips look worth a visit just for them
Very nice course, very challenging especially in the wind. Avoids the heather at all costs it will ruin your card
