Absolute 5 star service for every one at James Hayes. All my garden machinery came from them and both my quad bike and utv. Absolute true 5 star service. I wouldn't use any one else.. Josh goes out of his way to help and there prices I think are outstanding.. 5 stars for sure..

Needing a new chainsaw and with all the choice of models and brands available, I found it difficult to know which would suit my needs. Fortunately I found Josh at Hayes Machinery this afternoon who made things much clearer for me and was very helpful in explaining various features until my choice was narrowed down to a couple of models. I have set up my own gardening business in Somerset this year. Despite there being many power tool and machinery dealers in Somerset, I decided to travel for 90 minutes to see the staff at Hayes when I bought my first Mitox unit. Of all the dealers I spoke with, it became obvious that the staff at Hayes knew their products intimately, they had all used the products and they were able to properly recommend the right kit for the kind of jobs I was going to be doing. I visited yesterday as I was having problems with a strimmer head. Not only did the guys try to fix it there and then, but when we realised the part was broken beyond repair, they made suggestions as to alternatives, based on the work I’ve been doing AND then gave me a discount on the alternative part, which they fitted for me. Of course, being surrounded by all that shiny stuff, I decided that I needed a chainsaw and all the PPE, as well as a pit of winter boots. Again the level of knowledge and advice from the guys was phenomenal and they were genuinely interested in my business and aligning me with the right tools. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for mowers and tools for their gardening business or for their own domestic use. And because of all that, I will be going to Devon next season to buy a mower that I can get five miles away from my home address.
