Practicing a few martial arts as it's been a passion since I'm a kid and Capoeira is definitely where I've had the most fun and met some of the best people around town. Would highly encourage anyone to at least give it a try and experience not only the martial part, but the whole including the music, singing, acrobatics and this piece of Brazilian culture and history.

I've done a few martial arts in the past but there's nothing quite like Capoeira. I love that it is not just a martial art with fighting and take downs but we also do music, singing, language (Portuguese), gymnastics, dance and so much more. I've got my kids doing Capoeira as well and it's all they talk about. This is a great school to be part of with experienced and professional instructors and many long term students which I think is a good indicator of a great martial arts school. It is wonderful to be part of such a vibrant community.
Great classes, touching on music and history, while getting a good work out. Adjustable for all levels. Love it, met some amazing people and really enjoy being part of Melbournes Capoeira community. Amestista provides an inclusive learning environment. Great stuff. Try it.
