This is always an interesting place to visit. If you're looking for plants or anything for your garden needs, these nurseries have it. An extensive range of seasonal plants are available. I guess the big attraction is its diverse shopping experience. Clothing, footwear, bird feed and accessories, books, tropical fish, animal care products, furniture and, at this time of year, so much Christmas product. It's a store for all seasons and all needs.

Visited with the kids the week before Christmas to try and get a little Christmas spirit but we either left it too late or like many others they didn't go big on Christmas this year as displays were a bit empty and sparse. Other than that, picked up some speciality preserves and local ales for presents.

We all love a good garden centre, don't we? I know I'm probably not old enough to frequent the cafe as it stands (or even allowed during the covid crisis) but we have visited here. As with all garden centres there are gifts but unlike so many garden centres of late there are still plants and associated things. There is a small pets section but for those I wouldn't recommend on going purchase from here given the pricing but it's good to browse. There is a decent range of plants and there is a small pond section that at the right time of year has a good selection of pond plants which other local garden centres have neglected over the last few years. There is a heritage centre where the cafe is that is worth a one off visit for small children. All in all not a bad example of a garden centre.
