Going here was one of the biggest regrets of my life. I came here for cancer treatment. What I got was email only access to my doctor who didn't take my concerns seriously, nurses who blamed me for the poor care I received, and a massive dose of radiation that was the incorrect protocol. Unsuprisingly, the cancer grew back. I went for treatment elsewhere on the second go-around suggested a medication only option that used the medication I was already on. This protocol was not presented as an option at uvm, despite being prescribed the same medication by uvm endocrinology. It turns out, I could have avoided the massive dose of radiation, and it's associated side effects, if uvm endocrinology had taken the time to stabilize the medication.

They have helped me with my diabetes for several years. I find them very friendly and quite professional. My niece is an Endochrinologist in Quebec and I bounce things of her. She finds their guidance is in line with her judgement. I give them a thumbs up!

Met with a younger Endocrinologist who was not thorough and pretty much brushed off my thyroid issues and told me to see a nutritionist. Seemed not interested in my health woes, or even look at my list I brought of symptoms and family history. Really had high hopes I would get some help. She said she'd call me back as she didn't have my ultrasound results and sent me on my way. Really felt like I was bothering her day, and look and behold, I get home and get a call that my ultrasound had suspicious nodules and O need a biopsy. Had one done but, will not follow up with them. Finding a new doctor who doesn't brush off a patient who may have serious issues. Advice: Advocate for yourself and research your doctors before you go.

They use 60 year old hormone replacement protocols pushed by Society Of Endocrinology. Vermont needs a new clinic for hormone replacement which is modern and uses more updated protocols. Using GMO cotton seed in the oil preparations is bad for the overall health so I and many have to order products from other countries which use peach oil and non GMO derived. The whole pharma system in US is about profit which trickles down to poor choices for patients.
