Tried the samsui ginger chicken, lotus root soup (traditional soup of the day), ah gong potato leaves (spicy, ah ma is not spicy). Soup is flavourful, exceeded expectations, lotus root and meat in soup are well broiled. Ah gong potato leaves has high tze char standard. Samsui chicken is signture dish, ginger sauce is easy on the tastebuds, ginger is not too strong. Acceptable for people who do not like ginger (me!). Have cucumbers and lettuce on the side to make wraps. Chicken is tasteless by itself. Overall, worth a try, good dinner place if you like Chinese food and if you dont want to eat typical tze char food. Will come back for the soup.

Staff Mei See is very rude with a can't-be-bothered attitude. Forgets customer's only request. Have to remind her 5 times to bring a new pair of chopsticks. Terrible. Worst waitress in Singapore. Very rude when we asked her about the signature dishes. Raised her voice at us and pointed rudely at the menu as if she was scolding us. If Mei See is unhappy about her job, please ask her to quit. Please don't let her vent her frustrations and anger at customers. That's not right at all. She has totally no professionalism and has completely tarnished the reputation of the restaurant.

Limited seats. Best to make reservation if you have a big group. Place is cosy, but if you seat right inside. The ventilation and aircon is not enough. Food is normal, don't expect too much.
Great service as usual. Love their signature Samsui Chicken. But other dishes seem to have shrunk. The Claypot Toufu seems to come out from Toys R Us. Too small.
