I was so excited to try this restaurant. I ordered through GrubHub & ordered meatloaf, mashed potatoes & macaroni & cheese with cornbread. I was given cabbage instead of mashed potatoes & my cornbread was completely burnt! I couldn’t believe they gave me a burnt cornbread biscuit. My girlfriend ordered the whole chicken meal and they gave her the leg & thigh instead of breast and wing. Both of our meals were incorrect. Even the meatloaf was greasy. I’m not a picky eater but this is far from good service. I was only refunded the mashed potatoes because “the biscuit was free” (even though I paid for the meal that included cornbread) but honestly, the whole meal should have been refunded or replaced.
Great food. I love the catfish. They also have rib tips that are excellent.
Everything tasted BLAND or unseasoned but EVERYTHING was very good, probably because people with high blood pressure or whatever. But I support black owned businesses, the lady was very nice and the business was very clean!!! Gave her an extra 10 dollar tip. From Memphis, Tn and as a truck driver good food is hard to come by on the road so I WILL BE BACK NO DOUBT!!!!
It was an okay,I've seen it posted and seen science I wanted to really give it a try I have to bake chicken green beans and the baked beansthe chicken was good and tender and fell off the bone but I can tell it in Sydney for sometime cuz I declare was kind of dry green beans and have much flavor but I understand because you can't cook normal cuz everybody can eat that. The baked beans was good in tinder had a lot of flavor.
