The place is cozy, feels like dining at home, and with affordable price. That combination is something rare in Jakarta. I've tried the Sate Ponorogo, and it is good. The only downside is they watered the peanut sauce a bit too much, so it feels "thin". Overall, they have authentic taste of Sate Ponorogo. I'll update my review as I tried another dish on this restaurant.

I received friend recommendations to come here and have a bowl of Semarang Chicken soup. I was interested to try chicken Satay (Ponorogo style). Although when the Soto Ayam came, it didn't look exactly as the other review. The chicken soup is delicious enough and no chicken skin, all meat. Good job! the condiments itself, additional chicken meat is chewy, it will be better if they soak the chicken meat inside the sauce. Perkedel kentang and fried Tempe also On the other hand, the chicken satay taste good. The meat is tender and the peanut souce is delicious. However, the peanut souce taste something like Ketoprak. The Loenpia Semarang taste good.. although it is not as delicious as those in Semarang city. It's one of the best Loenpia Semarang in Jakarta area. If you come around lunch time, the place is quite pack and have a limited parking space. PS: when the place is little bit empty, they turned off the A/C, and because the place is closed, it's becoming really hot. Maybe the owner could consider to turn on the A/C while there is customer eating.
Delicious food, great service at affordable price. Restaurant is comfortable for lunch, dinner or family.
Lumpia semarang is my fave, taste even better than the original.
If you miss Semarang food, you could come here, they offered all a great Semarang food such as Lumpia (Semarang Icon Food), Soto Ayam (chicken soup served mix with rice), sate telor, sate kerang, sate ayam, perkedel, tempe goreng, pindang ayam etc and traditonal drink like Wedang Uwuh75. Lumpia taste is very good and not oily, it's totally the same taste with lumpia in Gang Lombok, Semarang. The owner said the chef ex from there . Wedang uwuh75 is a traditional healthy drink. The place is clean and tidy, the staff is friemdly. The location is not far from Duren traffic light and they open at 9 am to 9 pm. The food price is a very reasonable with the good taste, around 50-70K for 2 pax.
An affordable, small and quiet place to have a lunch/ dinner. Their Soto Semarang here is quite delicious. I love their Perkedel Kentang and Lumpia Semarang. The place is neat and tidy, service is also good and quick. If you live in Kebon Jeruk area, I think this is a good option for you if you want a cheap and quick place to eat!
Taste Authentic from Semarang central java area, this Chicken soup (Soto Ayam) is original clear soup with special herb from central java, adding citrus and sweet soy sauce with special chilly, makes the taste flavourable (can't describe in words) should try by yourself
Tasty but quite inexpensive soto. Never come after 7 pm as the soto will be sold out
