We (Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group South West) recently employed Somerset Training to take care of our First Aid at Work requirements and training of appointed persons, as well as reviewing our First Aid kits. My employees have given nothing but positive feedback since, including \The best First Aid training I have ever had (and I have been on a few courses!)\ What is very clear is that the practical experience of the Somerset Training advisers is what sets their programme apart from the rest. Gone is the endless bandaging for bandaging sake. Somerset Training provide a practical and tailored approach, wrapped up in a no-nonsense style. I would (and will) use them again.

Attended a 2 day paediatric first aid course run by Rich and Craig. The course was really informative, provided plenty of opportunity for practical work and specific questions to be answered related to my own setting. The experience both Rich and Craig have within the ambulance service, Medical corps and GP surgery meant that all the information covered could be related back to real life examples/experiences making it much more purposeful and memorable. Will most definitely be sending my staff your way when training needs to be renew!
I attended an emergency first aid at work course ran by Somerset Training Limited, last year. The trainer Craig was great at getting our small group involved & engaged. There was a good balance of theory with practical exercises & I can honestly say I got far more out of this course than I have any other first aid course I have been on.
I attended a school-based course on paediatric first aid run by Somerset Training and was very impressed. Craig is a former paramedic with lots of experience and that is the crucial difference between what I learned on this course compared with others. Craig has actually practised all that he is teaching, giving a whole extra dimension to the techniques being demonstrated; he's done it for real. I was also impressed by the thorough nature of the training and would have no hesitation in recommending Somerset Training Ltd.
We at Combe Sydenham Country Park used Somerset Training Ltd to train our team on the recent introduction of an AED machine and to improve our first aid knowledge. It was an excellent day, providing team building and participation. Myths were dispersed and we discussed real life potential situations in a number of short focused sessions. As an audience we had very broad background and skills and the course ensured we all reached the comfort of knowing what to do to step in and help someone in need. Somerset Training Ltd provided a good depth of knowledge in a flexible working environment and we look forward to establishing a long term relationship with them.
