One of my favorite buildings in London. Been a few times to see a number of exhibitions. Always fascinated each time I visit. Latest visit was to see the 1-54 art fair. It was beautiful experience to see amazing modern African art and artists from across the continent. I was honored. Some great quality stuff. I was very cultured. Sadly COVID has affected many parts of culture and the arts across London city and Somerset House felt really quiet and strange but nevertheless remains one of my favorite places in London.

My favourite gallery in London. Oh heck it, in the world! I just love it, very lovely art, very lovely staff and oh what a beautiful building. Can't wait for you to reopen!
Dating back to the 16th century, it's been a Royal residence and every king and queen who ever lived here, contributed towards the design and layout according to their own taste and gave it their personal touch. It does look like a grand palace but today its an art gallery, conference and events venue, exhibition centre and in winter you can ice skate in its huge courtyard.
Somerset House is a palace working today days as an arts centre built on historic foundations with a beautiful courtyard and terrace. On it lived the Princess Elizabeth I before being crowned Queen. The today's. Art centre offers many cultural activities that are usually for free or under contribution.
Great exhibition and art gallery ! Have a beautiful fountain court and nice outdoor cafes. Usually an amazing ice skating but not in 2020
