Good for kids
Nice selection of butterflies and a few exotic birds, fish and plants.

What a nice experience for (small) children and parents. There are two areas, one for butterflies and one for birds. Children get a flyer on which all animals are shown, to see if they spotted them all. There's also iguana's and lots of fish, which you can also see under water. We spend around two hours inside and the kids really enjoyed themselves. There's a high rope bridge, which was a little too much for our youngest (4 years old).
Cozy little butterfly garden with some other exotic animals. Kids are really enjoying it here. Lots to see... 2 areas, you can clim up some stairs too to see it from above. A little restaurant/ bar at the entrance for little snacks and drinks. Public transport (bus ) can reach it but the last 20 min. You have to walk.
Nice small butterfly conservatory. There's also a pond with tropical fish and there are lots of tropical birds flying around.
It's a cosy place, not so busy, but a lot of interesting to see and to admire. Well too small to fulfill a day, but with some nice dinner at @dehoijsehoeve our day was very satisfying! #kleincostarica #someren #dehoijsehoeve
