I was able to get an appointment next day which was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and the scan was explained fully to me beforehand. I would definitely recommend this clinic .
I attended CMC Imaging / Heath Lodge Clinic on 05/07/2019 for an MRI scan of my Knee on their new 3T Scanner. I was seen immediately after checking in with the reception team. I'd been sat for no more than 10-15 seconds before I was called through by Sioned to the new 3T facility where I was shown to the locker room to store my belongings, before being greeted by Dr Beale who would be performing the Scan himself. I'm not sure if anyone is a \fan\ of being in an MRI scanner, but as far as my experience goes - this was above and beyond. The new scanner is far less claustrophobic than others I've been in before, and is equipped with a TV/projector where you can watch and listen to different scenes to relax/distract to whilst the scans are performed. A voice-over also advises how long each scan takes, which is far more helpful than it sounds when trying to remain still! Whole procedure took 15 minutes (as Dr Beale advised before hand), and was genuinely the least stressful MRI scan I've ever had. Perfect service, and thanks again. - Sam
After leaving a slightly scathing review of another hospital it seems only right to give credit where it's due, and it's due here. This place was excellent through and through. I cannot fault any part of this, from arrival they made me feel very comfortable, they allowed me to go and lie down which I was having to do due to my slipped disc, took excellent care of me. The consultant spent a long while explaining the findings in detail and could not have been any more helpful than he was. I would recommend this place to anyone.
25/11/2014 For the patient I took to CMC Imaging Services I found the staff were excellent. The patient was claustrophobic and had no intention of having an MRI scan. The staff reassured the patient and made sure they were comfortable and relaxed to go into the scanner. The results were perfect and all pictures were delivered to the appropriate specialists on time. Once again a big thank you to Doctors and all the staff.
