Very nice pub although quite small, there is seating outside. Good safety processes in place and hand sanitizer stations. Wide selection of Adnams beers available as well as 0.5% ghost ship for the drivers. We did not stop to eat but the food did smell great! Maybe we will have time to try it next time we're here. About 100 meters from Southwold beach so has a great location. Worth a visit if you're strolling along the front.

Visited today and was really impressed with how the pub had adapted to adhere to the Gov guidelines. Staff were amazing and it was very clear what to do. The toilets were 1 in at a time and were spotlessly clean! Staff greet you at the door and direct you once the pub is clear. I felt really relaxed and enjoyed my first lockdown pint!
The wife and i had a day out to Southwold today as we live in Norwich. Walked along the sea front,then headed into to town for dinner. Came across the Sole Bay Inn walked up to the entrance and greated by a lovely lady who we asked for a table and luckely there was one available which she showed us to,the wife had steak and ale pie with vegetables and i had the chicken fillet burger both meals excellent and very reasonably price and prompt service please give this place a luck you won't be disappointed.
