The food was delicious. Whilst eating the scallop starter, I was wishing I'd ordered it for a main, until my lamb main arrived. It was perfectly cooked and the accompanying veg was lovely. My brother ordered the rack of ribs - it was huuuuge. And very tasty. I highly recommended this place.

Always have an amazing meal here. Cannot fault it at all. Staff are really friendly and it is really clean. It's the only place we can fit 3 courses in :-). Our favourite restaurant in Cornwall and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you are in Looe it's a must. I'd recommend booking in advance too to save disappointment.

We've been here in Looe now for a few days as a Birthday getaway and this place was chosen for my birthday meal. Definitely by far the best meal to this week. Starter I had the shellfish pan fried medley and really enjoyed it, cooked very well, even the scallops, she had the prawn bowl which she enjoyed. Mains, the spiced roast duck breast came in a sauce I was unfamiliar with, but a sauce I would thoroughly love to have again, the duck itself cooked how I liked it, pink. She had the beef fillet medallions. I had a taste and if honest not a dish I would put up there, but to be fair a dish I wouldn't normally order for myself, she really liked it. Desserts, creme brulee was very light and finished the meal off nicely, she struggled a little bit with the ginger crust lemon cheesecake, but not a single mouth last night was disappointing. Last night was a special meal and the chef and other staff didn't fail and helped towards a memorable night. The staff were great and the setting definitely my type of ambience. If I was in Looe again and wanted a nice meal, this would be my first choice.

Has a great atmosphere, I love the low light in here. The food was amazing. I had the grill and everything on it was cooked to perfection, I had to take some of it home. Every course was so good, highly recommended.

Just had a beautiful meal at this restaurant. Could not fault the service and the food was excellent. Had the crab cakes to start followed by the beef medallions....amazing! Wine was very reasonable with good choice. Atmosphere was great.Surrounded by very cosy decor...including the ceiling beams....taken from the Armada! Felt like I truly was in a smugglers cott! Well done everyone on the staff!
