Me and my Husband hired these wonderful people to cater our wedding and boy did they deliver! Super professional service right from the consultation over the phone and in person, creating a bespoke menu together, taste testing and then the day and everything in between they were just fabulous! Cannot highly recommend them highly enough for any event you are hosting, you will certainly be in safe hands!

Simon and Ros were absolutely flawless for our big day. We were living abroad therefore communications and ideas were through email and telephone calls. We did manage to pop over for a taster with them, we were filled to the brim with ideas and were highly impressed. We imagine like many brides and grooms we had some indecisive moments and many questions but they were really positive and reassuring! We were asking Smugglers to cater for a large number of guests (150 suppliers) and they definitely delivered on quality & quantity. We had a selection of canapés that just seemed to keep coming. The team of waitresses were extremely well guided by Ros, they kept the drinks flowing and canapés reaching all the guests. We then sat down to 15 roast beef joints perfectly cooked with Yorkshire puds, homemade condiments & bread as well as enough sides to feed the guests with the larger appetites! The comments of how beautifully cooked the meat was overwhelming. They also organised specific meals for guests –vegetarian, those with allergies and food intolerances to such care that they actually had specially prepared dishes. They say the proof is in the pudding, it definitely was not just in the pudding! But the trio of puds signed of the wedding breakfast, going down a treat. In the evening they put a spread of cheese, biscuits, pork pies and more out. To keep the energy of the guests on the dance floor going. They delivered beyond our expectations. Ros was front of house and did and amazing job. We were feeding our suppliers too (photo/video/band) and she came out to check on them, checking when they would like to eat and if they needed anything. They took care of all our guests so that we could relax and enjoy the day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND We cannot thank them enough, Vicky & Dave Miller
Smugglers were great caterers for our wedding from start to finish. They listened to what we wanted, put together a delicious menu and tasting and fully delivered on the day. Ros and Simon were a fantastic presence, and their calm and professional manner on the day really put us at ease. I would highly recommend them.
Right from the start I realised that this would not go well when they suggested they would knock together a menu. From then I heard nothing!!! Luckily I found someone who was not only professional but delivered a superb evening for us!
From the very beginning Simon & Ros got on board with our Game of Thrones wedding theme and we were so happy with how they tailored our food and drinks. We had delicious canapés, a full scale medieval banquet consisting of platters per table of beef, chicken, duck galantine and all the trimmings. All our guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We thoroughly recommend Simon & Ros not only are they talented caterers but lovely people always happy to help and even happy to dress up! - special thanks also to the waitresses for dressing as wenches and Tim for his awesome outfit!
