Had a really wonderful evening at Smoke & Thyme. Great to do something slightly different! They have a beautiful old conservatory where dinner is served, one big friendly table. It very well organised, with Claire, front of house, and Jack the talented chef. An imaginative and flavourful menu, and being in the catering business myself I am picky! Well done guys I will be recommending you!

Big, bold flavours; no frills just great cooking, great service and a great environment in which to enjoy it all. Great fun to eat lamb ribs with your hands and share a joke with complete strangers. Gorgonzola cheesecake? Who'd have thought it would be that good? Do yourself a favour and get involved.
Credit where it's due. Jack Greenall is passionate about great food and it comes through in everything he creates. It's lovely to support someone who's spotted a gap, worked hard, and fully deserves their success. Really nice guy and the pay what you want nights are great value for money. Catch it now while you can - he is going places.
Jack was the caterer at our wedding, and was brilliant from start to finish. Where other caterers told us what options they had, Jack started by asking us what we wanted and what our budget was and then made it work. The food was delicious and his team responded well to my hyper-organised nature. On top of that it was all done with ease!
