There are not a great deal of choice in the botanical areas, but it is local and there's always ample room for parking. I imagine due to the lack of customers the price is always high. Its Christmas display is always spectacular. Very decent cafe, especially in the summer. (shame its closed due to the virus. )

Love this place! Amazing gifts section with some very unusual and beautiful items available. The Plants are always excellent quality and the staff are always willing to help you select what is best for your garden. I often go just to have a look; even if I don't need anything and I usually come home with something that caught my eye as I wandered round

When you come in the the store it appears small and somewhat outdated, BUT then you reach the small archway and stairs and there is a WINTER PARADISE! I was amazed at how many XMas decorations they have and how well decorated it was. Absolutely great place to shop for Xmas.!

They always do really well here for decorating at Christmas it's lovely and they do a lovely hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows which is just why you need to wash down a nice slice of cake
