Nice bar work great view of Seattle. It sits cost money to come up the elevator, just like all the bars and restaurants I've been to in tall buildings. But a nice relaxed atmosphere. Good net and cocktails.

The best part have been to in some time. The Paella is the best I have ever had. Great space. Good service. Drinks are unique and tasty.

So glad for this little find; absolutely better in all ways than going up to the space needle observatory. First of all; price point is, well, on point. 22 one time entry fee to get up to the bar. Discounts for students, children and military. The tickets themselves come on keepsake postcards that you can repurpose to tell all your friends about your cool outing. Once you enter there are several rooms and small exhibitions along the way up to the actual bar on the top floor. You get a little tour guide who'll tell you all about how this building used to be the tallest before the space needle beat it out; and a tiny quip about how adding the needle was cheating a bit as it's not real usable space. The bar itself has a nice speakeasy vibe; clean, warm, dark and cozy. The walls are all windows, and you can walk out onto a wrap-around patio to observe the view there. I especially like how you can see the coast and the space needle from here. The prices at the bar itself are also pretty reasonable; especially for a 'touristy' place. Cocktails are around 10-15, wines around 10, and beers are around 6-7. They actually have pretty substantial food here as well with sandwiches, pizzas, etc. I can only speak to the chocolate toffee kahlua mousse cake, though which was absolutely phenomenal especially with the lovely view.

Definitely worth seeing. The view is nice and the room is the original China room with beautiful ornate detailing. The food is a mix: soup was flavorful but the deviled eggs were bland. Service was mediocre. The Smith tower in general is worth seeing so you may as well take a visit here.
