I had my house alarm installed a couple of years ago, and now wanted CCTV installed. I got in touch with Jo again as I was pleased with the service and products he provided last time. Gave me a quote and within a couple of days my CCTV is installed. Extremely pleased with the Hi tech equipment used. Recordings are crystal clear and motion sensor set up straight to our mobiles. I had a minor issue with my house alarm which Jo also put right straight away. Very professional and helpful. I cant recommend Smartech enough. Thank you Jo and your team for doing a top job yet again.

We used Smartech Security for Alarm and CCTV system based on recommendation by our friend. Everything up to installation as per our expectations, after, not so! After around 14 months we started having issues with the CCTV hard disk crash and in spite of repairing it 3 times the issue still remains. Also the alerts from the CCTV cameras are not reliable at all, even after a few changes to settings: •\tIntrusion Detection never worked even after settings done by Joe. It gives a lot of false notifications but fails to detect when a person passes thru' the marked area! That feature is one of the main reasons we bought the system but is absolutely useless. •\tI noticed a new option - Line Crossing Detection. That functions a bit better than but works only @50% times. When I contacted Smartech I was told they can't help with either, as the system isn’t manufactured by them but only installed it, as such I should take up with Hikvision instead. We also had an issue with the Alarm going off continuously for no reason with an unbearable noise problems to all. Called Joe who came after a week after a lot of follow-ups and replaced the siren by charging call off and replacement charges. The Alarm is working well now. We had a lot of issues initially with insufficient or even no response to phone calls/mails. It improved after our earlier online review and intervention by Susan, but the issues with CCTV remain unresolved! I'm not a happy customer. :-(

Use the team to install a new wireless system into our new home. These guys are experts in the field and work in a flexible and efficient way. They helped tirelessly in setting up the automation and use via App which had some challenges to start with. No hidden costs or call out charges for teething problems. High recommended as they gave honest, accurate and non-biased advice.
