I have know the owners for many years and just moved close enough to visit more often . The taste, value and portions are perfect. Customer service is the same now as it was many years ago. The family that owns it also work there, along with their (now grown) kids. They treat every customer like they are family. I also noticed that the egulars\ that come are known by name, and they remember what they usually order. Hard to find that any more!

Delicious BBQ, had the rib plate and it was plenty for sharing with my wife. House BBQ sauce has a slight vinegar kick which is lovely. Everything was perfectly cooked including the ribs, collard greens and the most perfectly crispy sweet potato fries. Place is pretty busy at lunch, but the line to order went quickly and the food came out within minutes. Staff is super friendly and know the names of many regulars. Lots of older folks here, but the younger crowd seems to be discovering this old school BBQ joint as well. Dine in, carry out, order ahead, they've got you covered. 4 stars only because the food didn't sit well for a moment, but that'd likely because I'm not used to collard greens.
First time there. Pulled pork sandwich and Stew. Stew was pretty good, maybe a wee thin, but overall pretty good. Nice flavor and consultancy. Pork sandwich had a good smoked flavor and was not over done. Didn't really need any sauce, but I just couldn't resist adding just a bit of the hot. The place itself had the look, feel and smell of a great BBQ joint. Not like the \boutique\ or \craft\ bbq joints that are all over the place now.
Marlene and Bob are the best. They treat everyone like family. The BBQ is delicious, don't miss out on the stew. SLOPES BBQ IS A MUST HAVE! Love it!
Excellent hidden gem in Roswell. Great hospitality and service, makes you feel at home. One of the finest BBQ places around.
