Had the spicy bbq chicken sandwich. Not really spicy but still good flavour and crunch. Fries were a bit Too salty for my liking and I love salty food. I’d definitely give it another go if I were in the mood for a fried chicken sandwich and in the area.

The chicken wings were so worst, too much sauce cover the wings, and the texture is so hard, the fork can’t help. We ordered three different dipping sauces, coleslaw and mac and cheese as well. The coleslaw taste was so “raw”, seem like eating raw cabbage with tasteless salad sauce, even couldn’t see any veggies apart from the cabbage. In addition, mac and cheese just mac and cheese, I couldn’t see any reason why I need to eat it and the dipping sauces in there, no any unique selling point or surprises for providing so many sauces. I’m a foodie person, I can’t even finished my meal in there, very very disappointed we have a new restaurant like this in Cardiff.
I love Slim Chickens. They aren't the biggest portions but it's plenty, and the food is delicious. And they do some of the best milkshakes I've ever tasted. Service is always good, friendly etc. My only gripe is that you can't get full fat cola there on tap, only the diet and zero sugar versions. But there's always the milkshakes!!
It might seem a bit pricey but it’s worth it for the taste and quality of what you get. Their chicken strips are the best ones in Cardiff by far. They’re always fresh and there are a lot of different sauces you can choose from.
Not a long wait for food and the place was very clean. Menu is quite overpriced for the portion size. I ordered one of their wraps and the amount of salt in the food was absolutely disgusting i could not finish my meal it left a horrible taste in my mouth. i believe it was the breading on the chicken or the sauce. the milkshakes were alright though.
