Skyway Drive-In

I've driven past this place literally 100's of times! Well today a good friend of mine told me about it and we decided to head over there for some lunch. Let me tell you... If you haven't given Skyway Drive-In a shot, please go get in your car and drive there right now! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is speedy and the prices are even better!

Authentic food and service that takes you back to the golden age of drive-ins. Our order was ready quickly and arrived hot and fresh. Juicy burgers, thick shakes and some of the best fries and fried mushrooms in the state. Take a detour from your routine and stop in even if you're not directly in the area.

The girl who took our order was not very friendly and charged us wrong.. we were charged extra for dipping sauce for chicken nuggets, which is ridiculous. We spent 30 on food and got charged for a small cup of ice water.. Really? Interesting. The food was average at best.. the wait, waayyy too long. Extremely overpriced for the quality. My kids prefers Wendy’s burgers and we are always satisfied. Management needs to work on some things, especially customer service

Absolutely ridiculous! asked for a menu and the waitress never returned to take the order! There were maybe 2 other cars in the parking lot - I flashed lights repeatedly and waited and waited some more. No response from anybody! This was on 1/18/ 21 around 5:00 pm.... If i hadn't thrown the menu out the window and went Freddy's on Arlington i wound still be waiting in Skyways parking lot.

This is 'thee' burger experience to have. If you incarnate on earth and you want the burger, fried appetizer and cola experience this is the place to get it. I've had five guys, in and out, swensons, all good of course but Skyway has my favorite fast food burgers around, and they are even better than the dine in and sit down restaurants I've had over my lifetime. The onion rings, my favorite ever. Get a side of sky hi sauce to dip them in. In my photos you will see I got the sky hi burger with extra pickles and the half pound burger with extra pickles. Some of my bites even had a full pickle slice in them, this was a delicious meal! Ryan was my server and he was super friendly! I got a chocolate and peanut butter malt to go! You want a semi-sloppy burger that makes you feel like your taking a bite out of heaven? This is the place. It is worth the drive.
