Once we walked into the diner, you sign a waiver and your temperature is take. Our waiter, Raphael, or Raffi as I called him, was wonderful. I love this diner and was very happy that they are open and very cautious, as they practice social distancing inside with spacing the table seating, so you felt safe there. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Ive been out of NYC for 8 months, so it was awesome to go back to one of my favorite places.

The Skylight Diner is a great place to come for just about any meal or snack. The food has been great and decently plentiful. The other benefit is to be able to eat and then head to take your Amtrak train just a couple blocks away with a full belly. The breakfasts are great and the sausages are the large fat ones and not the small ones you may find in other places. The Burgers are great and this is one of the few places that services a Meatloaf plate like I remember having back in the 70's.
I’ve came here twice both experience has been fantastic love the staff how well they take care of you I’ll definitely come back again when I go back and visit to NYC !
Great breakfast place. Has all the options you could want and the eggs and hash browns are great with fresh orange juice.
Very disappointed! After driving 53 minutes I received NOTHING like what I expected. Only one burger was available, it was pre-made and NOT fresh. The toppings were all soggy and the sauce was far and few. Maybe the food truck is better.
