I could not rate Skylark Nursery more highly. I visited many settings in and around Newton Abbot before choosing where to send my children, and it stood head and shoulders above the rest. The setting is lovely (in a purpose-converted barn, with a gorgeous outdoors play area), the staff are talented and committed and the ethos is fantastic: there's a real emphasis on enjoying and exploring the natural environment. Both of my children adore it, and have thrived there, and one (who has additional needs) has had a superb standard of 1:1 care. I really couldn't fault it, and any professionals who have visited on our behalf have commented on what a wonderful find it is. It's an easy drive out of town (just off the A38) and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. It feels like a family. If you're at the stage of considering a setting for your little one, just book a visit. You won''t be disappointed.
