Good stuff first, the catfish was great and the hushpuppies too. Disappointed in the scallops, they were tiny bay scallops and with all the breading falling off and there was a ton of oil in the container, the flounder was not like any flounder I've ever eaten, in taste and texture, my guess is another fish was sent in error. The shrimp were good also good. I wouldn't jump at the chance to return but I would not veto it either.

This was my first experience Wednesday 3:50pm. Paying was available right up front. It wasn't very busy so I walked right up to order. Cashier was very friendly and patient. I advised him this was my first time so he didn't rush me as I looked over the menu. I decided to order the Skrimp & Whiting dinner. This included Withing and jumbo shrimp, one side, I decided on the french fries and a drink. Total price with taxes 14.50. While I waited I noticed the dining area was very clean. To include tables chairs waist area and soda station. I did not visit the bathroom. The dining area is simple with tables and chairs and a bench along one wall with a table and chairs. My order was prepared quickly. What was most impressive, the food was pipe and hot. There was a generous portion of whiting about 5 pieces & 8 jumbo shrimp and more than enough french fries. I would have loved some hush puppies but that didn't come with the meal and would have been extra. The fountain drink was not the best mix even though it wasn't as fat as I've experienced that other restaurants. Clam chowder was offered as an extra on the menu but the cashier said it had not come in yet so I assume that is a seasonal item. Overall it was a great experience for a first time. I would recommend trying it. I will certainly revisit.
Enjoyed the sandwich, everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The shrimp was flavorful and pretty large. Didn’t care much for the spicy sauce though, it was too sweet for me.
A preferred spot for quality Seafood. cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. food is similar to a cafe in portland i loved.
