As a transplant from Texas, I'm very happy this place exists. The food is excellent and authentic BBQ. I would come much more often if it weren't so pricey.

Let's be honest, it's hard to find a proper BBQ restaurant in Cannes - most of the restaurants offer fish, pasta, some steaks but that's about it. If you want a properly smoked ribs - look no further - they are delicious!
What a great experience!! Lovely place with friendly stuff and warm atmosphere. We had a family lunch in Skooks and enjoyed it very much, food was just great and meat perfectly cooked, deserts were amazing! It was a great break in a busy shopping day :) I only can recommend this place to every (and not only) ribs,barbecue and burger lovers!!
Our family of five visited on a Monday eve in May and had a fantastic time. It felt like a little America in the middle of France. Our 18yo daughter loved the Cobb salad. The coleslaw, beans and mac and cheese sides were spot-on. We went for the BBQ, not the steak, and the BBQ chicken and ribs we sampled were delicious - we required MORE - ordering another round of chicken and ribs. Dinner was presented in a sharing-style, with dishes served to the middle of the table. Finally, a decent and growing beer selection rounded out the experience. Looking forward to when they add smoked brisket to the menu!
Skooks BBQ is a meat lover's dream. Went there part of a group and had a great time. The owner and staff are so dedicated to their establishment, food and clientele. Prices are very reasonable, service is great and so is the food. Strongly recommended.
I came with my family to this extraordinary restaurant! My family and I are American and this restaurant surpassed our expectations! There was great service and exquisite food! I recommend this restaurant 100%!
