New to knitting during these testing times. Jane has been so kind and helpful. Myself and two friends will be regular visitors and already have a few projects underway. Beautiful patterns and a lovely choice of wools. Pleased to have found Purl & Jane!

What a beautiful shop a santuary for any knitter appreciating the finer qualities of good yarn. Lovely patterns and really helpful staff I will be returning again very soon.
Nice little shop, good variety of local stuff, prices are steep for regular knits, spent 65 on 2 hanks, 5 or 6 patterns and a short pair of needles! Hidden away but a sign is at the end of the alley access. Be a confident experienced knitter with the patterns as some bits not well written. Nice owner and very helpful unless you point out fault.
It's difficult to say, really. They weren't open when they said they would be (10.30 on the website, but on their door it said and I had to get back to the car before my parking ran out. Very disappointing since I'd made a special trip. It was definitely yesterday, a Tuesday
