We used to park in the village to go for a walk and discovered this spot last summer. Much better parking, cost 3 for a day. It's a bit nicer place to grab a bite and drink than in the village. Food is nice and you can seat right on the sea front. Nice to walk from there as well.

Nice place to eat with a large varied menu.Everything that came out of the kitchen was very appertiseing. Sat out but well spaced tables inside. Great location overlooking the beach. Good pay display car park next to this venue with very clean public toilets next door but pay 20p for the privilege. Disabled persons with a Radar key can use for free. When we visited the pay and display meter was taped off so didn't pay ? Covid 19 precautions. There were toilets inside but didn't use so can't comment.

Comfortable seating great space and vantage point with stunning views of the North sea. Polite young workforce serving excellent food at a reasonable price

Anyone with the IQ of a seagull can clearly see this is a coffee shop and eatery as well as a visitor attraction, and I don’t really understand why anyone would criticise the Observatory. It’s a fabulous piece of architecture in an amazing setting. I suppose if you can’t bear to part with a few pounds for tea and a snack, then it might be difficult to comprehend why everything in life isn’t free. Well worth a visit and with plans afoot for neighbouring coastal villages this really is an up and coming coastline.
