Always running extremely late, even for early morning appointments. The last time I went I had a lift as I felt so ill I couldn’t drive, so I asked at reception if they were running late and was told no. 45 minutes later I was finally called in! Another time I went as I had a chest infection (told by the doctor there the week before) and I saw a nurse. Unfortunately I found her to be very rude and unhelpful and she didn’t want to listen to anything I had to say. Told me to buy some cough mixture and I’d be fine!?! (Two weeks later I was still very ill!) I requested a repeat Prescription for some antibiotics and was told someone would get back to me. TWO weeks later I received a second class letter in the post asking me to ring the surgery, which I did, to be told they wouldn’t be prescribing me a repeat Prescription of antibiotics! There are lots of other minor things that all add up but overall not a good service at all.

The receptionists are all outstanding but my personal favourite gp is doctor graham hissett who has listened attentively to me for weeks and has single handily found me a solution to an over 30 year problem with my eczema x

Little to no empathy or compassion shown to my partner who has been struggling with an issue for years.
