Good place to stay and waiting for bus.
There is a Interbus line selling spot where you buy the tickets for the bus transport to the Catania airport just inside this caffe bar. The table of the vendor is just behind the front door which makes the employee of this Caffe extremely rude and cranky because he is annoyed by the people coming in to buy the ticket. The whole situation is quite claustrophobic and it is my sincere recommendation to remove the selling spot somewhere outside the Caffe.
I was attracted here by the retrò style and was not disappointed, this bar has a lot of character and feels different from the usual modern bars which dots Siracusa. It seems popular with locals (always a good sign) and tourists alike. The owner Erminio is extremely nice and accomodating. Latte macchiato was excellent. Recommended!
