The food was aesthetically plated, the ingredients from the lamb cooked at a very low temperature to the perfectly seared chicken skin seems to have squeezed out every ounce of flavour, the service was top notch and the setting was pretty. Yet it seemed like it was missing a touch of wow. Or maybe I should have gone in with a lot less expectation as every else seems to have found it amazing.

I am not sure I can add any more superlatives to this amazing restaurant. Amazing customer services , stunning food that challenges your thinking. Cannot recommend enough. Birmingham is truly at the forefront of stunning cuisine. Set lunch with three choices of each course. I really enjoyed the Pollack.

Had a stunning lunch today at Simpsons, whole experience was just amazing! We were greeted and given the option to sit in the bar or go to our table, but opted to go to the table, the decor and grounds are lovely. We opted for the 8 course tasting menu, and had cocktails, each course was amazing, two highlights for me were the carrot broth and the lamb, simply devine! Thank you so much for an amazing experience and hope to see you again soon!

Absolutely stunning lunch. Friendly service, excellent bread and butter. Glass of wine included with fixed price lunch. One of the less covid feeling lunches of the times. Thoroughly recommended.
