Simple Goodness Vegetarian Takeaway Bistro

Happy to find a vegan cafe as we strolled round Penrith, my daughter is vegan and I am veggie so it always good to have a WHOLE menu we can choose from!! My daughter had a salad bowl and I had the cottage pie. Both were beautifully presented and delicious. I spent the rest of the afternoon feeling warm and well nourished. We couldn't persuade my none veggie son to have a main meal but he LOVED the cinnamon slice. Special mention for the caring service from the owners. Go!

For coffee and a cake, brunch or a midday meal, there's a lot on offer. We came with a party of five including a toddler and the team couldn't have been more accomodating or attentive :) The menu is clearly passionately planned and cooked and the staff have an appreciation and talent for great balanced dishes. Everything we ordered tasted great, was served nicely and of a generous portion size to boot. Pricing was fair and especially so for ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients. I only remembered to get a picture of my (absolutely delicious) cake... go on, treat yourself!

The food here is prepared with so much consideration for not only taste, but also the balance of nutrition - whenever I go in I learn so much more about the food that I eat and how to use food as medicine, etc. Not only that, it is utterly delicious. I'm not a salad person usually, but every single element of their salads are thought through and I happily eat it all up! Plus vegan and vegetarian! Love it

Fantastic food, feels really filling and nourishing. I always feel great after eating. I'm a meat-eater but I'm always happy to get lunch from here. So friendly, too! We're lucky to have this available in Penrith.

Was passing through town on a road trip, and I was so pleased to discover this vegan gem! I had the scrambled tofu sandwich on olive bread – delicious and far exceeded my expectations. The lemon cake was also divine. Would eat here every day if I could. Plant-based lovers rejoice!
