Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. Great food, and nicely off the beaten tourist path. Locals a little bit hostile, as we were all typical brits who can't speak European languages we needed to use Google translate to read the menu, leading to somewhat obvious mockery from the elderly crowd having an evening drink. Despite unfriendly locals, the food and atmosphere after they left was great.

This is a fantastic place to eat and drink. They have both German and Belgian beer on the card. The service is great, very attentive and knowledgable. Muhammad is a very nice waiter and is always ready to serve you a great beer or delicious meal. Plenty of outdoor seating with giant umbrellas to shade you on hot days. Make sure to get an expresso after dinner. It is located next to the church in the center of Simpelveld.
Excellent restaurant discovered by accident, friendly staff who translated the menu and recommended an excellent local beer. Plenty of locals eating and drinking here, they were also friendly and curious to how us brit tourists had stumbled on their favourite watering hole. Food was very good, pizza, Brie salad, and spaghetti Gorgonzola. Recommended
Wij waren met vrienden op vakantie. Na een dagje ver reizen uit Brabant waren wij toe aan een lekker maaltje. Zeer goed zuurvlees gegeten, loyale porties en goede service. Hierna zijn we nog een keer terug gekomen en hebben we geluncht. Ze herkenden ons nog. De lunch was ook supergoed bevallen met het grootste en lekkerste broodje gezond wat ik ooit heb gezien en heerlijke nacho's. Als ik ooit nog eens terug kom naar Simpelveld kom ik zeker weer langs.
