I found Simon Hood Wood Flooring when I was looking to have my floor replaced after water damage had lifted the existing floor. from the onset Simon was very helpful. He knew exactly what he was talking about and gave me great confidence that all would go well. I was not disappointed. The work was held up due to Covid-19 but once work was allowed to go ahead it was done with efficiency and extremely good workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend. One very happy customer.
Simon did an excellent job on our floors and staircase. They look really fantastic, even better than we hoped. From the outset, when he came to look at the property and give us a quote, he made useful, clear suggestions re: materials but at no time did we feel pressured to take a particular flooring. He provided a highly efficient and friendly service. We would thoroughly recommend him. He even managed to work around our playful puppy!

Simon has done an amazing job on our downstairs floors, laying herringbone engineered oak through hallways, kitchen, living room and dining room. The craftmanship and attention to detail is excellent. He takes pride in his work and the results show. From the very first email response and follow up visit, Simon's communication has been friendly and professional. Simon worked around damp issues we had with our existing floors and did not commence work until the floor conditions were up to standard. I would not hesitate to recommend him to work on your home.
