Ordered from this place many times as a Bosworth resident. For context I should add that I have lived in Leicester City centre and have had many curries over the years from the city. Simla has provided me with some of the best. The menu is unremarkable in terms of content, standard in many respects. What sets them apart is service and also their absolutely expert use of spice. Eating at Simla makes you understand that spice is not about hot or not hot. Spice isn't a thing by itself, its something that (when its perfect for the ingredients and customer) transforms those ingredients and the diners experience. I've had 100's of curries but only that experience about 3 times. One of them was here - check them out.

Superb service, good advice and recommendations of the food. Attentive and interested waiters. Food was delicious, 5 of us shared a veg and a meat platter for starters, mains selection is extensive, beautifully cooked and presented, very tasty, take note of waiters advice on how spices hot the dishes are. Deserts looked good too but we were too full to eat more so settled for the lovely and mint-chocs. Will definitely go back if in the area.
