As a new patient and a first time mom, I made an appointment with Dr Jennifer Lee. She was dismissive and both my fiancé and I left feeling like she did not communicate anything and didn't get any questions answered. A few days later I called for some lab results and wound up speaking to the office manager about my appointment. She relayed the message to the dr who called me about my appointment. She blamed it on the front desk and the lack of communication. My next appointment was with dr tan, and it was a bit better. She seemed more personable although she seemed a bit rushed. She ordered labs and didn't really explain what/why. Fast forward 4 days, I hadn't gotten results so I called. DrTan was not in the office but someone would call me back that day or the following. No one did. Another few days and I get a message from CVS that I have a prescription ready. Interesting, I had yet to get a call with results. I wait a few hours and call the office. Dr Tan had left for the day! Her assistant would call me. I had additional questions about my lab work but she was unable to answer them because she wasn't my doctor. Unacceptable. I am beyond frustrated with this office. They have a huge lack of communication. As a first time mom I want someone to educate me on the process of pregnancy. I don't think it's too much to ask. They make you feel like you're in a factory and they don't owe you any explanation. For these reasons I am transferring care and wish I did it sooner.

Dr. Grace Lee showed excellent professionalism. Answered all my questions. Check out her laser therapy for fine tuned areas that are difficult to lose body fat. Wonderful and friendly staffs. Support minority female business owners.

This is more a personal thing, but I’d like to encourage the doctors to be more empathetic bc what is normal procedures to you may be brand new and terrifying to your patients. I tried two doctors to an IUD insertion that I heard was very painful and when I vocalized that I was scared and nervous, I was met both times with “yep it’s uncomfortable.” I was almost crying when the nurse saw me and put a hand on my arm and finally said - you did it, it’s over. Again - I understand how typical a lot of the work doctors do can be bc you see it all he time, but empathy goes a long way!! :)

I was contacted the morning of my first OB appointment only to be told that “a surgery was running late” and I would have to reschedule to another day. I have waited weeks for this and rearranged my schedule including arranging for childcare for my other children for this? I felt very saddened to hear the casual suggestion that I should just take another day off of work to come in. Needless to say I ended up having to lose an entire day of pay just to accommodate their “late surgery schedule”. As a working mother, I would have thought that they’d be more understanding of my situation. I don’t think I can keep affording to lose days of work just for their inability to keep appointments with me.

Front office has a staff that is very rude. The doctors are great and if it weren't for them I wouldn't return.
