3 minutes of this office's time is worth more to them than months of a patient's quality of life. Needed a single piece of paper signed by Dr McConnell to get hearing aids. Dropped off paper at front desk Monday and told them needed to pick it up for audiologist appointment on Thursday in Toronto. Now on Thursday I am told that we cannot have form back for two weeks, as \office policy on all paperwork is to hold it for two weeks\. Not allowed to speak to the doctor and no one at reception is willing to even ask the doctor about it for me. I have written 99 reviews and this is the only establishment I have ever given 1 star.

Charging 20 for a prescription refill during the pandemic is ridiculous. It takes literally seconds and is digitally signed. It requires no effort. Only allowed to call between 9-11:30 and 1-3:45. Calls outside that time aren't even allowed to leave a message. I've never seen anything like it. Office staff can also be quite rude, assume you are familiar with their odd office rules and are quite dismissive of simple questions.

Love Dr McConnell and her staff, they are AWESOME. Always kind and friendly. If you want to be treated respectfully you need to treat others the same way, especially in the health care field. If the appointment is running behind, so what, bring a book and relax, your not the only patient and perhaps there is more time sensitive issues being dealt with behind the scenes. Remember that could be you one day taking up more time then required to get the proper care you need. We forget how lucky we are having great doctors, nursing staff and health care providers in our area, we also forget how grateful we should be for OHIP Your Doctor is not your slave nor is their staff! Be on time for appointments, pay for missed appointments and do your part - be a good patient, it goes both ways!

I find that she is quite attentive and seems to actually care about her patients. My only complaint is that to book an appointment there is close to a 2 month wait period.

Books months in advance and then turns patients away for being 20 minutes late, God forbid anybody still has a job when they need medical care
