Food was alright, because we ate before 10 am we could have our hot drinks refilled for free which was a nice idea, shame we were only told about this after we'd eaten, it would of been nice to have another drink with our breakfast as we'd finished our 1st one's by the time we had our food. Other than that its a nice clean cafe with plenty of seating
I've had many great meals here, but this was the first time I had been since Covid. I was very impressed with the set up. On my way in I was asked to enter my contact details on a pad, and they took my temperature. I was then politely shown to a table behind partitions. Once I had selected my meal, a large breakfast with tea, I placed my order at the counter which was surrounded on most sides by screens. The food and drink came out promptly, and all the cutlery, salt, pepper and sugar, which you would usually have to fetch yourself, came out with it. Excellent service, and brilliant organisation: it can be very nerve racking going out anywhere at the moment, but Silver Street Cafe is certainly a place that gets it right, and I felt very safe. And of course, the breakfast was delicious as always!
