So I have been using this vets since I went there as a boy with my dad, the time came to take my 10 year old boy there with a poorly hamster Christmas eve of all days, to be made to feel 2 inches tall and that i was unable to look after an animal, (they have been looking after my dogs for nearly 20 years), the vet insisted on me bringing my other sons hamster in for a free health check( both dwarf hamsters, and this one was a Russian dwarf so I am led to believe they only live 2 years and was 16 months old) so I did this straight after boxing day, told the vet how she had made me feel and all I got was a flakey 'I am sorry you felt that way' as an apology, will never step foot in here again. Oh and the out of hours service made me go all the way to Trowbridge one night with one of the dogs who scratched her eye, having much better service from another vet now, I advise you to avoid

Regularly use this vet for my cat never used for large animals. Difficult under covid restrictions. Not sure they are rising to the challenge. Was impressed that I was contacted and issues discussed in detail.
Been with Silva house for 4 years now Always really helpful with advice and never had a problem getting an appointment
Lovely vets and fantastic receptionists/ nurses, couldn't ask for a better vet surgery, always keeping you informed on the condition and treatment of your pet and cost were applicable.
