Cosy and good traditional Danish inn menu.

Nice place situated perfectly along the gudena. Friendly staff but expensive
Great location with beautiful and cozy surroundings but unfortunately the evening was somewhat spoiled but what seems like very inexperienced staff. The waiting time for drinks was long and they would forget our orders or forget who ordered what, and there was generally a feeling of being an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. Maybe this was a one off, bad luck experience and if I visit again and have a better experience I will of course change my review accordingly, but for now I wouldn't recommend this place over other similarly priced places based on my experience.
Lovely cozy little place to eat and stay. Rooms are small but well kept and equipped. Food (dinner) was truly excellent, enjoyed it very much, and a great selection of beers and wines. Breakfast was basic, but nicely done. Enjoyed my stay.
Good quality but Prices a little in higher end
No Star! Very dissapointed and dissatisfied. Three of us went there for Fried Eel. At DKR379 a plate we were presented with eels encased in a hard shell of near burned or burned bread crumbs, totally overpowering the delicate taste of the eels. The thinner pieces of eel were overcooked and dry. When we queried the presentation we were told that this is the traditional way of cooking eels in this inn. No offer of recompense given. Anyone looking to try the delicious fried eels in Denmark should give this place a wide berth. Traditional Danish fried eel should be dusted with flour and gently pan fried in butter, not burned to a crisp in a hard cocoon of bread. Shame on you Kongensbro Kro.
The most beatiful nature around the "Gudenåen", the largest Å in Denmark.
Nice rooms. Good food. Nice surroundings.
