A very interesting Roman ruin to visit. Information panels dotted around the perimeter bring the story to life but thankfully dont spoil the aesthetics . 5 Stars because whilst it's not the Colosseum it is what it is,a truly remarkable piece of history . Well worth a visit. Free to get in and a pleasant walk too.
Great walk with my 7 year old today. Most paths pretty wide and social distancing still possible. Saw people with babies and dogs,so a good mix of walkers. Great half term history and geography lesson!
