The lady who looked after us in the restaurant today was lovely - she was helpful and patient whilst my son made up his mind. The food was really tasty and the portions were generous! Would definitely visit again thank you.

Lovely fish and chip shop, stairs are small and a challenge but worth it for the food. All the staff are welcoming and helpful. You and even get batter bits or scrums as they call them.

A delicious generous piece of fish with chips well presented in a tray and wrapped to look like a boat (if left open). Staff really nice and friendly but too shy to look at camera . A little dining room to eat in also. Recommended

Have always loved Sign of the Fish chips, they are always fresh, hot and tasty. I only have chips and scraps but they is a lot of choice otherwise. Prices are perfectly reasonable, tray of chips are 2.10. Staff are always very friendly and chatty. There is a cafe/seating area around the back but never used it so couldn't comment. There are plenty of benches nearby if you want to eat outside, be ready to share with the local pigeons though!
