My truck needed a new driveshaft and rear pinion assembly. Pete at Sidney Transmission made the whole process easy. He explained the repair and showed me the broken parts. We were headed for the ferry and felt some shimmy in our truck, then smelled some burning at a red light. We stopped at Sidney Transmission and Peter really looked after us. He came out, did some troubleshooting and found my front brake to be siezed. They looked after me right away in the parking lot with caliper and shoe replacement plus a turned rotor. Great guys, friendly mechanic, knowledgeable. Thanks a million for getting us back on our way!

I went to Sidney Transmission several years ago after being told that an unidentified noise was a probable transmission problem. They checked, fixed the noise, assured me it was NOT a transmission problem and billed me about 20.00!!!! Since then I always go to them as they have proven themselves trustworthy and always give honest, friendly service for a fair price.
