Wonderful, talented, friendly local cake maker! We had our kids birthday cakes made by Charlotte and she far exceeded our expectations on every occasion. The cakes looked and tasted amazing. No one wanted to cut into them they were such a work of art! Nothing was too much trouble, we received incredible customer service and Charlotte, The Cake Lady was very accommodating, easy to chat to and above all professional. Everything was taken care of. An absolute gem! Highly recommended ️️️️️

The Cake Lady has made a number of cakes for me now and all i can say is WOW!! She is very talented and the designs she has created have been real show stoppers! If the Cake Lady did Bake Off she'd win hands down. I can't recommend highly enough.
I received a voucher as a birthday present and booked onto the cupcake course. Due to the severe flooding on Dartmoor I was unable to get to Exmouth. When I questioned if it would be possible to reschedule or refund I was informed that unless she cancels the course then no alternative course or refunds are provided. Despite the Amber weather warnings and Emergency services asking people not to travel, it’s good to know that common sense and decency are put aside to think purely about profiting from other people’s money. This isn’t the kind of customer service you’d expect from someone who’s meant to have such a good reputation. My experience has left me questioning whether I’d rely on this kind of person to be responsible for a special occasion and I can honestly say I wouldn’t put my trust in The Cake Lady.
I cannot recommend The Cake Lady highly enough. Charlotte is a very skilled, talented and professional lady who listens, advises and then produces the most wonderful cakes. She is also totally calm when faced with last minute changes to a finished cake (thank you for the branches and hedgehogs!) If you need a brilliantly designed cake for any sort of celebration don't hesitate to use the services of Charlotte. Many thanks for helping to make my Nieces wedding so special.
We used The Cake Lady for our wedding and she produced some truly wonderful cakes. Everyone commented on how great they were. She took the time to really understand what we wanted and even started open a little late when I forgot to pick them up the day before the wedding. Thank you
Not what was asked for, icing over 1/2inch thick, cake very dense, unfortunately whoever did the design did not read the brief, was supposed to to be a cricketer in the crease, not in the rough, sorry would not recommend, definitely dropped a googly
