Very friendly clubhouse and a well kept course. For a very average golfer, though straight forward, it's a tough uphill front nine mostly on a camber so it's certainly a challenge.
The course rates highly with me as a high handicaper but I do not advise playing late in the day as you will be greeted by a balcony of loud drunken onlookers as you play the 2nd half of the 18th. Spoils your round and hangs over you as you approach as to what additional distraction or pressure you will have to endure. Clearly the money from alcohol is more important that green fees. Thoughly spoilt my round.
