Received very helpful advice from a young chap - member of the sales team in the shop. He was patient and really showed an interest in what I was trying to achieve. His advice enabled me to think about my project as I went back home to check some measurements. I returned armed with accurate details and a new design, which will, I hope be a practical and easier configuration to address the issue. Can't try it at the moment as it's pouring cats and dogs - as it wouldn't be safe to carry out the work. I'm crossing my fingers. Thank you. Mim
